Use of Cookies
1. Description and Scope of Data Processing
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored in the Internet browser or by the Internet browser on your computer system. The legal basis for the temporary storage of data is Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is derived from the above-mentioned purposes of data collection. Under no circumstances do we use the collected data to draw conclusions about your person. The legal basis for the processing of personal data using cookies for analysis purposes is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR if you have given your consent.
4. Duration of Storage; Possibility of Objection and Removal
Cookies are stored on your computer and sent from it to our website. As a user, you therefore have full control over the use of cookies. You can deactivate or restrict the transmission of cookies by changing the settings in your internet browser. Cookies that have already been stored can be deleted at any time. This can also be done automatically. If cookies are disabled for our website, you may not be able to use all the functions of the website to their full extent.
5. Change Cookie Settings
Borlabs Cookie does not delete any cookies that have already been set when opting out, but removes the entire JavaScript and thus prevents tracking systems such as Google Analytics from being integrated.
An opt-out for Google Analytics therefore does not set an extra do-not-track cookie. Instead, the service is simply no longer integrated.
Javascript is only removed after the opt-out the next time the page is accessed, as the user has already been tracked for the current page view. The ‘Reload after consent’ option can be used to ensure that the visitor’s browser automatically reloads and the opt-out is immediately active.
